Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Albany, NY is seeking a Customer Service Engineer Union Level 1 to service MR/CT equipment at customer sites. The role is field-based and focuses on installation, maintenance and timely repairs, with operator training to ensure optimal system performance.

The candidate should have 3–5+ years of field service, strong customer service, and be willing to travel in assigned geography. A valid driver's license and ability to work in a team are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ Years of field service experience is desired.
• Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
• Physical Requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.

Responsibilities

• Service MR/CT equipment at customer sites in Albany, NY.Install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance.Manage financial performance within territory, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense and inventory targets.Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers; complete administrative duties accurately.
