Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service multi-modality imaging equipment in the Los Angeles, CA area. You will install, diagnose and repair CT/MR/XP imaging systems at customer sites with minimal supervision, and provide operator training to ensure peak performance.

The role requires strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of hands-on medical imaging service experience. A technical Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with tools and service test equipment; ability to work solo or in a team.
• 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive day and night, good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, preventive maintenance and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites.
• Provide operator training to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage territory financial performance, including revenue, expenses and inventory.
