Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a full-time Imaging Department Manager to lead x-ray and nuclear medicine operations, reporting to the Director. The role covers CT, MRI, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, and related procedures, with on-call duties once per month and a weekday day-shift schedule.

The candidate will supervise staffing, performance evaluations, and department goals while ensuring compliance with safety and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years’ experience in imaging, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Familiar with filmless/digital radiology operations.
• Experience in x-ray preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee imaging department operations and staffing.
• Manage on-call schedules, staffing, and PTO.
• Provide orientation and staff development.
• Ensure quality and safety in imaging procedures.
