Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Director of Imaging & Diagnostic Services to lead CT, Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PACS and related modalities. The role drives strategic planning, staff development and budget management while ensuring quality patient care and satisfaction.

The incumbent will serve as a key advisor on administrative matters for Imaging Services, maintaining clinical and management knowledge to advance the field and comply with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Six years of radiology services experience with two years in people management; HM requires five years in imaging with one year in leadership
• Strong leadership experience including physician engagement, operational performance, access and throughput improvement, and capital planning

Responsibilities

• Directs and strategizes Imaging Services to meet quality, service and cost objectives
• Oversees staffing, recruitment, engagement, coaching and evaluations
• Develops budgets and ensures financial stewardship across the department
• Ensures training, compliance and policy adherence across imaging modalities
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with medical staff and hospital leadership to advance patient care
