Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support the imaging team and ensure patients receive high-quality care. You will assist technologists, prep patients, and help maintain safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Prior patient care or service experience may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: patient care or customer service experience.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Prepare the patient for the exam and attend to their needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and in and out of procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other providers.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and report issues.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department with safety and comfort.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
