Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in patient care or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is attentive to patient needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other care providers.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Inspects transport equipment and notifies if repairs are needed.
