Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or preferred.
• Prior patient-care or front-line healthcare experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively deliver patient care under the technologist supervision.
• Assist in preparing the patient for imaging exams and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate relevant information to other providers.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
