Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging services and ensure patients receive the best care. The role assists imaging technologists, helps prepare patients for exams, and handles patient transport with safety and comfort as priorities.

Ideal candidates will have Strong communication skills, familiarity with imaging procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and address their needs during care.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers after procedures.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to/from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
