Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the technologist guidance.
• Prepares patients for exams and supports comfort and safety.
• Assists patients on/off tables and between rooms.
• Coordinates patient care and relays information to care providers.
• Inspects transport equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Transports patients to imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
