Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide who supports imaging teams in preparing patients and ensuring comfort and safety during exams. The role requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transport, coordinating care, and ensuring safety standards are met. Prior experience in patient care or customer service is preferred, with BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and BLS certification required.
• Patient care or customer service experience preferred.
• IV insertion competency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other care providers following procedure.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
