Job summary

CSU Veterinary Health System is seeking an Imaging Core Administrative Coordinator in Fort Collins, CO to provide office support to Radiology, Ultrasound, Advanced Imaging, and Central Scheduling. The role involves coordinating scheduling, billing, and EMR/PACS workflows and serving as a liaison with clinicians, students, and staff.

The successful candidate will use PACS/EMR systems, manage appointments, enter fees, and help ensure accurate order entry.

Responsibilities

• Use PACS/EMR systems (VDI + CS) to download/import/transfer images and studies into hospital PACS; coordinate with services to store studies.
• Schedule and prioritize appointments (VDI); resolve scheduling conflicts and manage calendars for surgery, VDI, and anesthesia.
• Communicate and assist with departmental protocols; prepare for special procedures and ensure proper billing and order entry.
• Perform administrative tasks for research project exams and procedures; register research accounts and match imaging to orders.
• Use software programs for administrative procedures (VDI); train/ supervise student hourly employees; daily use of Microsoft Teams.
• Provide central scheduling coverage; organize changes to schedules due to cancellations or emergencies; coordinate requests from specialty services.
