Livingston HealthCare is seeking an Imaging Access Specialist to greet patients, gather registration data, and schedule imaging appointments. The role supports PACS and teleradiology systems and ensures smooth patient flow within the Imaging Department.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic EMR knowledge, and the ability to coordinate complex imaging orders while communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and payment systems.
• Attention to detail and customer-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and families entering the department.
• Collect demographic, insurance, and registration information and answer calls.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging appointments to optimize patient flow.
• Coordinate complex imaging orders and instruct patients on preparations.
• Obtain signatures for medically necessary waivers and complete paperwork.
• Prepare exam paperwork and distribute to staff promptly.
• Maintain and coordinate the imaging EMR for patients.
