Job summary

Omaha Children’s Museum is seeking an Imagination Crew Member to provide welcoming, engaging, and educational experiences for children and families. This part-time, hourly role involves facilitating play-based learning and exhibit activities across the museum, with responsibilities including exhibit readiness and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Initiate welcoming and inclusive interactions with guests of all ages.
• Engage children and caregivers in hands-on exhibits through play, conversation, and guided exploration.
• Support interactive experiences and activity stations assigned.
• Reset, clean, and organize exhibits throughout the day to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor exhibit areas and communicate safety or maintenance concerns to leadership.
• Assist with guest flow and operational needs during peak attendance times.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality, and accountability for scheduled shifts.
• Participate in required training and demonstrate willingness to learn new exhibits, programs, and procedures.
• Follow museum policies related to safety, conduct, and guest interaction.
• Support weekends, weekdays, and occasional evening events as scheduled.
