Job summary

Cisco is seeking an IIoT Solutions Engineer to drive the sales motion for Industrial IoT, collaborating with account teams, channel partners, and customers to champion mission delivery for our portfolio in industrial networking, security, AI, and cloud.

The role requires a strong pre-sales background, CCNA, and experience presenting technical demonstrations, developing strategic sales plans, and interlocking with Cisco product management and industry solutions teams to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Hold an active CCNA certification.
Should have at least 3+ of Pre-Sales experience.
Baseline knowledge working with Cisco products, SD-WAN, Catalyst Center, Catalyst Switching, Wireless, Meraki, AI, Industrial Networking.
Strong background leading large, complex technology sales requiring C-level executive support.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and sales support to customers.
Perform technical presentations/demos and develop strong interlock within Cisco functions.
Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
Support and address critical projects as well as critical situations and provide solutions as needed.
Act as a specialist on assigned team activities and provide consultative support in their area of specialization to other Solutions Engineers.
