NeoGenomics Laboratories, Inc. in Aliso Viejo, CA is hiring an Assay Development Scientist, IHC. This hybrid onsite role focuses on developing high‑value immunohistochemistry projects for client and internal initiatives, with a Monday–Friday day shift.

You will lead design, manage timelines, analyze data, and present findings to leadership, while collaborating across teams and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. or M.S. in life, physical or computer science with related experience; Ph.D. preferred.
• Four or more years of related immunohistochemistry (IHC).
• Solid understanding of laboratory and/or analytical techniques.
• Ability to develop and deliver complex directions and scientific project plans.
• Detail oriented with ability to capture and record complex scientific data accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and ability to use software tools to produce high impact presentations of data.
• Ability to problem solve independently and elevate problems appropriately in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and maintain production and quality standards.
• Must be able to work in a laboratory environment and comply with safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual.

Aufgaben

• Leads project design and feasibility studies.
• Drives all aspects of the project management process from initiation, planning, execution, control and closure.
• Creates and maintains project timelines and tracks progress.
• Represents the department with clients, audits, vendors and conferences.
• Performs literature reviews and assists with technical design of new project/product developments.
• Analyzes and presents data to management.
• Provides support to research collaborations, clinical trials and other department projects.
• Prepares high quality technical reports and documentation, including posters/papers and client presentations.
