NeoGenomics is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for the Histology department in Aliso Viejo, CA. This entry-level role supports technologists and helps maintain laboratory workflows in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform basic procedures, assist with data recording, and contribute to quality control while adhering to safety policies. Shift: Tue–Sat, 1:00pm–9:30pm, with potential scheduling adjustments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; emphasis on science courses preferred.
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques desired.
• General knowledge of MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Record information in laboratory logs and worksheets for quality assurance.
• Perform basic lab tasks and clerical duties as directed.
• Prepare reagents under supervision of a technologist.
• Maintain cleanliness and operability of lab equipment.
• Help manage department inventory and orders.
