Job summary

SystImmune in Redmond, WA, seeks a Scientist/Senior Scientist to lead end-to-end IHC assay development for CDx kits in oncology drug development. You will select antibodies, optimize assays, validate performance, and implement in clinical trials, working with CROs and central labs.

The role requires deep pathology/IHC expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory alignment to move RUO/LDT toward IVD CDx commercialization. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pathology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Oncology, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on IHC assay development in CDx/IVD settings.
• IHC scoring methods such as TPS, H-score, CPS.
• Familiar with regulatory expectations for CDx.
• Strong collaboration across R&D, clinical, regulatory, QA and CROs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of IHC-based CDx assays from discovery through validation.
• Select and evaluate primary antibodies, detection systems and platforms (Ventana, Dako, Leica).
• Optimize assay parameters and establish scoring cut-offs with pathologists.
• Support regulatory documentation and CDx readiness for trials.
• Coordinate with CROs, central labs and external partners.
