Job summary

The candidate will design, manage, and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA components, implement data analytics displays, and ensure NERC CIP compliance. Strong scripting and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience (or equivalent).
• Expert level in Ignition and AVEA PI is mandatory.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Familiarity with RTU, PI historians, SEL-RTAC, DNP, OPC, Modbus.
• Ignition certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system (gateways, screens, alarms, historian).
• Manage OT SCADA equipment and keep systems updated.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics.
• Troubleshoot OT connections (RTUs, RIG, data loggers).
• Coordinate with IT as primary ops liaison.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance for asset compliance.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and AI initiatives.
