Job summary

Thrpartners in Denver seeks a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flow across gas, solar, and wind assets. You will design and maintain Ignition SCADA systems, manage OT servers and configurations, and develop analytics visuals to improve reliability.

Must have Ignition experience and Python scripting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of hands-on OT/SCADA experience, with knowledge of renewable and gas power systems.

• Bachelor's degree required; applicable years of experience may substitute.
• Experience with OT/SCADA analytics and data interpretation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system including gateways, screens, alarms, historian, and integration.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment, servers, and point configurations; keep systems up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for advanced analytics and visualization of operational data.
• Troubleshoot and maintain connections between OT equipment and RTUs, gateways, data loggers, etc.
• Maintain data connections between ROC, corporate data servers and OEM SCADA/RTU/OPC servers.
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations and projects.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance to ensure assets are compliant.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and assist internal AI initiatives.
