Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC seeks a SCADA Engineer to support OT/SCADA systems across gas, solar, and wind assets. You will design and maintain Ignition SCADA modules, manage OT hardware, and develop data visualizations for operational analytics.

The role requires experience with Ignition and AVEA PI, plus knowledge of renewable energy systems. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 3–6 years experience preferred.
• Must have expert level proficiency in Ignition and AVEA PI.
• Experience with renewable and gas power systems; OT/SCADA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System (Gateways, screens, alarms, historian, integration).
• Manage OT SCADA equipment including servers and point configurations; ensure systems are up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for advanced analytics and visualization.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment (RTUs, gateways, data loggers, etc.).
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations and ensure data connectivity.
