Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support our OT assets across gas, solar and wind operations. The role centers on maintaining Ignition SCADA systems, integrating data flows, and delivering reliable control and data visualization for site managers and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience, expert Ignition and AVEA PI skills, and familiarity with OPC/DNP protocols and RTU/SCADA hardware. A valid U.S.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience.
• Ignition and AVEA PI expert level mandatory.
• Experience with renewable and gas power systems.
• Familiarity with OT equipment and SCADA protocols such as Modbus, OPC, DNP.

Mansioni

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system (Gateways, screens, alarms, historian, integrations).
• Manage OT SCADA equipment, servers, and point configurations; keep systems up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment (RTUs, RIGs, data loggers).
• Maintain data connections among OT/IT networks and data servers.
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance and ensure asset compliance.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and internal AI initiatives.
