Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support OT data flows and reliability across gas, solar, and wind assets. The role focuses on Ignition SCADA design, maintenance, and integration, with emphasis on IT coordination and NERC CIP alignment.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of experience, with expert Ignition and AVEA PI skills. Renewable power experience and Python scripting are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–6 years in OT/SCADA or related fields.
• Expert Ignition and AVEA PI experience is mandatory.
• Experience with renewable and gas power systems.
• Familiar with SCADA equipment, RTUs, data historians, OPC/Modbus.
• Ignition certification is preferred.
• Proficient with Python scripting; MS Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical, self-starter, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system components.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment and keep systems up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays for analytics.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment and control systems.
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance and support.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and AI initiatives.
