Job summary

Amgen is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison for the Rare Disease portfolio, covering MD and DE with a US-wide scope. The MSL will build relationships with leading clinicians, present data to payers and providers, and work cross-functionally to advance Amgen’s scientific platform.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor’s with Medical Affairs experience.
• Clinical or medical research experience is valued.
• Rare Disease expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific liaison to medical and scientific communities in the US.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key experts and clinicians.
• Educate stakeholders with clinical data, outcomes, and economic information.
• Contribute to speaker training and educational plan execution.
• Support sponsored research and investigator-initiated studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance MSL goals.
