Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the IgG4 Rare Disease portfolio, covering MD and DE territories. You will establish relationships with key opinion leaders and clinicians across the US, communicating complex clinical data and economic value to payers, providers, and access partners.

The role requires advanced scientific training and extensive Medical Affairs experience in Rare Disease. Travel, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s + 3 years Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s + 5 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. preferred.
• Rare Disease therapeutic area expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community and establish relationships with experts and clinicians nationwide.
• Educate on clinical data, outcomes, and economic value to payers, providers and partners.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries compliant with MSL standards.
• Lead project teams supporting MSL strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and implement local plans aligned with the scientific engagement strategy.
