Extense SARL is seeking an IETM QA / Configuration Analyst in the United States to validate XML source content and IETM output for completeness, link integrity, applicability correctness, BREX conformance, schema validity, and faithful representation of the approved engineering baseline.

You will own the configuration/baseline comparison, track defects through to verification, and coordinate release readiness with validation reports and change summaries.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a federal background investigation.
• 5+ years of experience in technical-publication QA, configuration management, or technical-data analysis.
• Hands-on experience validating structured content (S1000D, DITA, or XML).
• Comfort with XML, XPath, and basic XSLT to read transformations and write simple validation queries.
• Experience using defect-tracking and version-control tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Subversion).
• Strong attention to detail; ability to detect inconsistencies others miss.
• Clear written communication; able to produce validation reports and defect descriptions for authors and developers.

Responsabilités

• Run schema validation, BREX validation, Schematron checks, and link/cross-reference checks across S1000D/XML sources.
• Test IETM outputs for navigation, search, applicability filtering, and rendering on the IETM viewer.
• Maintain baseline-change matrix: which data modules changed and why.
• Track defects from identification through verification using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
• Verify that customer review comments are dispositioned and reflected in the next baseline.
• Coordinate release readiness: validation report, defect closure, baseline manifest, and change summary.
• Maintain version history of data modules and align with ECP/ECN/TD references.
• Surface issues to S1000D Architect and XML/XSLT Developer for upstream correction.
• Support audit/customer-acceptance activities including First Article and Final Verification Reviews.
