Job summary

UPS is offering the Engineering Development Program (EDP) in the United States for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. The four-month training combines hands-on projects, classroom learning, self-paced training, and mentorship to build essential skills in planning and execution of large-scale initiatives.

Upon successful completion, graduates can transition into an IE Supervisor role, leading teams, driving process improvements, and supporting operational excellence across UPS’s operations.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Process engineering background preferred.
• Strong project management and data analysis skills.
• Driver's license required by start date.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports project and program management.
• Leads and supports process improvements.
• Performs work measurement using Master Standard Data (MSD).
• Conducts Operations Research.
• Participates in integrated business planning.
• Supports new technology integration and implementation.
• Administers training and development.
