Job summary

UPS is offering the Engineering Development Program (EDP) for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. This four‑month training blends classroom learning with hands‑on projects in UPS Operations, plus mentorship and self‑paced computer training.

Participants plan and execute major projects and develop process improvements. Upon completion, participants transition to an IE Supervisor role to lead teams and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Valid Driver's License by start date of employment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports project and program management.

• Performs work measurement using Master Standard Data (MSD).
• Conducts Operations Research.
• Participates in integrated business planning.
