Job summary

UPS's Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a four-month training track for Industrial Engineers, combining classroom learning with hands-on work in UPS Operations. It includes mentorship, self-paced training, and real project exposure to prepare you for an IE Supervisor role upon completion.

You will lead project implementations, drive process improvements, and participate in training initiatives while building a strong professional network within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License by start date of employment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports project and program management.
• Leads and supports process improvements.
• Performs work measurement using Master Standard Data (MSD).
• Conducts Operations Research.
• Participates in integrated business planning.
