Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) Dispatcher to work on our USPS security team at the Dulles, VA office. This entry-level role supports 24/7 monitoring, alarm system oversight, and dispatch coordination across multiple sources, including radio and telephone communications.

Candidates must obtain a USPS Public Trust (elevated) clearance and pass a USPIS background check; the position requires US Citizenship.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a USPIS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) and obtain a USPS Public Trust (elevated) clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 continuous monitoring and emergency dispatch for USPS hubs, outlets, offices and distribution centers.
• Perform security and alarm system monitoring, event logging and recording of IDS systems.
• Coordinate non-emergency and emergency dispatching and incident reporting, including use of investigative databases.
