Amentum seeks a Security Operations Dispatcher in Williamsburg, VA to provide 24/7 coverage, coordinating with police, fire, EMS and site security to ensure rapid responses. The role manages multiple dispatch platforms, triages incidents, and maintains detailed logs.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly under pressure, multitask effectively, and uphold safety protocols while ensuring accurate incident documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming requests for assistance via radio, phones, and dispatch platforms.
• Dispatch police, fire, EMS, security, and other resources to incidents.
• Interview callers to determine incident nature, urgency, and appropriate units.
• Monitor status boards and computer systems to deploy closest resources.
• Provide pre-arrival guidance using EMS guidelines when needed.
• Maintain incident logs and daily activity reports.
• Update SOPs with the site Security Office.
• Prepare the Daily Tour of Duty reports and perform admin tasks.
• Route inquiries to appropriate departments and external agencies.
