Job summary

Allstate Insurance Co. is seeking a Workforce Identity Lead Consultant to design and roll out IAM solutions, collaborating across teams to provide secure, scalable access provisioning for enterprise applications.

You will work with both internal teams and identity squads to implement identity controls, automation, and governance aligned with security policies and business objectives. CST/EST timezones required, with onsite collaboration at key hubs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developer experience (preferred).
• Experience designing or operating security controls embedded into CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, or shared platform services.
• Java experience (preferred).
• Python experience (desirable).
• Experience with AD/Identity-related scripting and tooling.
• Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving to address complex scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall product planning by contributing to stories for complex features across identity domains.
• Organize feature review sessions and coach less experienced team members.
• Design functional solutions addressing complex business processes and feature requirements.
• Configure or develop within vendor and in-house IAM systems; verify release features.
• Support testing and resolve access-related issues to minimize business disruption.
• Collaborate with Product/Service teams to meet performance, availability, and resiliency targets.
