Job summary

Abnormal Security Corp. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Identity Security Posture Management team.

You will write backend services in Go, scale systems, and collaborate with senior engineers and Product Management to define and implement the next generation of identity security defenses. You will work across the backend to evaluate millions of identity configurations and support posture scoring with robust data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on backend engineering with Go.
• Experience designing and building backend services for large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data infrastructure.
• Ability to design and review technical designs and documents.

Responsibilities

• Take problems from product requirements and deliver backend solutions end-to-end (data modeling through APIs).
• Contribute to core identity security posture systems design and reviews.
• Participate in architectural discussions, trade-offs, and edge cases.
• Uphold engineering best practices across testing, API design, and observability.
