Abnormal Security is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Multi-Product Platform with a focus on Security Privacy as a platform capability. You will own end-to-end delivery of large-scale security initiatives and design roadmaps for cross-functional teams, partnering with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in distributed systems, hands-on security delivery, and strong Golang/Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and large-scale design.
• Hands-on product security ownership and delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of Security Privacy initiatives across the platform.
• Define the Security Privacy roadmap for the two-year horizon with engineering, product, and business partners.
• Mentor and grow Tech Leads to raise the technical bar across the organization.
