Job summary

Okta is seeking a hands‑on deployment leader in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive customer implementations of the Okta platform. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, gather requirements, and design deployment solutions that ensure long‑term success.

You will mentor customers, collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Support to resolve issues, and guide customers on best practices for identity federation and cloud‑based architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security and cutting‑edge infrastructures.
• Familiar with API management using Mulesoft, Axway or Apigee preferred.
• Ability to work independently and multi‑functionally supporting client work.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and complex on‑premise IT landscapes.
• Experience with SaaS deployments where Salesforce/Box/Office 365/Workday are master for identities.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead post‑sales deployment projects to ensure long‑term customer success.
• Gather, analyze, and document post‑sales requirements.
• Provide innovative consulting and design deployment solutions.
• Mentor customers and coordinate with Product Management for feedback.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Support to address issues and escalations.
• Drive up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities with existing customers.
• Apply knowledge of identity federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and cloud architectures.
