Job summary

Okta is seeking an elite, hands-on Identity Architect to lead the execution of Okta platform deployments within customer environments and our internal tenant. You will configure, deploy, and validate Alpha features while shaping platform design through practitioner feedback.

You will collaborate with product teams and customer engineers on secure authentication patterns for AI workloads and enterprise identities, influencing platform evolution.

Qualifications

• Extensive, hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Okta in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, and modern identity threat vectors.
• Ability to influence product engineering and translate complex configurations for peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on architecture and deployment of Alpha platform capabilities within Okta’s own IAM tenant.
• Define secure authentication, token exchange, and authorization patterns for AI agents (O4AA).
• Collaborate with customer engineers to share deployment experiences and lessons learned.
• Contribute to technical content efforts (videos, podcasts, roundtables) and publish playbooks.
