Job summary

Okta seeks an elite, hands-on Identity Architect to lead platform execution for identity security and agentic identity across our cloud platform. You will configure, deploy, and test cutting‑edge features from Alpha to EA, shaping the core Okta platform before global scale.

You will work with top engineers and security practitioners, delivering real‑world tenant deployments and technical playbooks while partnering with product teams to influence architecture and security patterns.

Qualifications

• Extensive, practical experience configuring and troubleshooting Okta in enterprise production environments.
• Active mastery of Okta Identity Engine (OIE), Directory Integrations, Advanced Policies, Workflows, and APIs.
• Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, mTLS, JWT, and security threats in identity.
• Excellent ability to translate complex platform configurations into clear explanations for peers.
• Nice to have: Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead hands-on architect configuring and deploying Alpha platform capabilities within Okta’s corporate IAM tenant.
• Define secure authentication, token exchange, and authorization patterns for non-human AI workloads.
• Create deployment blueprints for Defender against token and cookie exfiltration using OIE.
• Share deployment experiences and playbooks with engineers across customer base.
• Contribute to technical content such as videos, podcasts, and roundtables at Oktane.
