Job summary

Okta is seeking an elite, highly mature technical leader to serve as the Okta on Okta Identity Architect. You will transition from an external customer to the internal driving force for platform deployment, configuration, and validation of cutting-edge features in our IAM stack.

You will act as Customer Zero, reporting to the VP of IAM, and influence platform direction while partnering with top engineers to push Okta’s security platform into real-world scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Okta in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, JWT and related identity protocols.
• Experience deploying and configuring advanced Okta Platform features and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary hands-on architect for Okta platform deployments at customer tenants.
• Configure, deploy and validate Alpha to EA platform capabilities in Okta’s own environment.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback shaping platform design and capabilities.
• Create technical content such as how-to videos, internal podcasts, and workshops to share deployment playbooks.
