Symetra is seeking an entry-to-mid level Security Administrator I to support identity and access management across the organization. You will administer user identities, access rights, and security roles while ensuring compliance and audit requirements.

You will work with business and IT teams to manage provisioning, monitor IAM policies, and improve access governance. This role is ideal for early-career security professionals growing in IAM, information security, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 2-5 years in Identity and Access Management, Information Security, IT Administration, or related field.
• Understanding of user provisioning, role-based access controls, identity management, and access governance principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain user identities, access rights, security roles, and profiles across multiple applications and platforms.
• Analyze, execute, and monitor IAM policies, procedures, and controls.
• Develop and maintain end-user security access rules and profiles.
• Create and analyze access reports, investigate and resolve access-related discrepancies.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining IAM controls and processes.
• Conduct access reviews and support audit and compliance activities.
