Job summary

S&C Electric is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator, Identity to manage secure identity and access across Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. You’ll support privileged access, governance, and hybrid identity services aligned with least-privilege and Zero Trust.

You will collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve IAM controls, processes, and audit readiness while ensuring smooth operations across global users.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, college diploma, or equivalent formal education in IT, CS, information systems, cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft hybrid identity environments including AD and Entra ID.
• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, security operations, or related role.
• Microsoft certifications (SC-300, Azure Security Engineer, or comparable) within 6 months.
• Experience with Entra Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and lifecycle workflows.
• Deep knowledge of IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, least privilege, SSO, MFA, conditional access, privileged access.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise identity platforms including Entra ID, AD, and Microsoft 365.
• Implement and maintain RBAC, least-privilege access, PIM, access reviews, and governance.
• Configure authentication controls, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and passwordless methods.
• Monitor identity-related alerts, logs, and privilege activity for risks and issues.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and directory issues with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain identity documentation, procedures, and audit evidence for compliance.
• Apply Zero Trust and privacy requirements in identity services.
• Support identity modernization initiatives and access governance enhancements.
• Assist audit requests with identity and access evidence.
• Provide guidance to service desks and project teams on IAM procedures.
