Job summary

UMC Health System seeks an Identity & Access Management Specialist to ensure proper access to systems, applications, and sensitive areas. You will perform user account administration, interface with business units, and help minimize access-related security risks under ISO guidance.

Responsibilities include managing access control, conducting security assessments, and collaborating with HR and other departments to meet access needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of IT concepts and applications experience.
• Security+ certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel and facility security clearance information.
• Manage access control applications (physical and logical).
• Conduct Security Profile Assessments to ensure appropriate clearance levels.
• Interface with HR and other departments to understand access needs.
• Maintain security camera system and infant tracking system.
• Coordinate with system vendors to ensure uptime and issue mitigation.
• Troubleshoot user access issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Assist with improving user access request processes.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis for after-hours issues.
• Monitor compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Ensure knowledge articles are up to date for applications and processes.
• Meet with application owners and security directors to ensure alignment.
