Job summary

UMC Health System in Texas is seeking an IT Manager for Identity and Access Management to lead a team focused on identity lifecycle, access provisioning, and governance across the organization, with SailPoint as the primary tool and strong AD/Azure AD integration.

You will define the IAM roadmap, ensure HIPAA and HITRUST compliance, mentor staff, and partner with HR, IT operations, and security to enable secure, efficient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field required.
• 5+ years of IAM experience and 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SailPoint preferred.
• Experience with EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IAM team; set goals and manage performance.
• Define and execute the IAM roadmap aligned with security and compliance.
• Oversee SailPoint, AD, and Azure AD operations and access reviews.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST/SOX compliance and conduct periodic access certifications.
• Collaborate with HR, IT operations, and application owners to align IAM services.
