Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking an Identity and Access Specialist I to manage user accounts and access across our IT systems. You will set up accounts for employees, vendors, and contractors, and troubleshoot access issues while maintaining clear technical documentation.

Reporting to the Manager of IT Security Operations, the role requires 1+ year in IT and strong communication skills. The position involves on-call rotation and adherence to security best practices.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in an IT environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; effective communication with clinicians and staff.
• Patience, tenacity, rapid problem identification and resolution; clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Strong skill in supporting applications and systems.
• Manage user accounts, create, update, and remove access as necessary.
• Knowledge of administration and use of Windows, Active Directory, Imprivata, Sailpoint, Epic, multifactor authentication, and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot access issues when required.
• Strong skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
