Pittsburgh Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Supervisor in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department to lead staff and ensure high-quality care for individuals with IDD. You will oversee daily operations, provide supervision and training, and promote a person-centered environment aligned with our mission.

The role focuses on staff supervision, onboarding, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or higher) with at least 1 year of direct work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of direct work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience in staff supervision and training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clearances and pre-employment screenings required.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to direct care staff.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing training to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure quality service delivery.
• Build relationships with individuals served, families, staff, and external partners.
• Address concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional manner.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to program development and innovation.
