Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to lead multiple community programs. You will oversee direct supports, person-centered planning, health care coordination, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, safety, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities include managing program staff, making hiring and salary decisions, guiding program planning, and ensuring high-quality, engaging services. On-call availability is required to support staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs, including organization and implementation of supports, planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, compliance, staffing, safety, and facilities.
• Oversee program staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Lead program planning, monitor service delivery, and ensure services are engaging and person-centered.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
