Job summary

Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based services, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services in the Bedford area. The role oversees 1–4 community programs, directing direct supports, planning, healthcare, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, and financial management.

Travel between Bedford, Garfield, and Berea locations is required. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years in Human Services, plus a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in the Human Services field.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community.
• Oversee direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and facilities maintenance.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Manage implementation of program planning; monitor service delivery; ensure services are engaging and relevant.
