Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an RN Admin/IDD Nurse to provide professional care to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. You will lead health-related training, conduct routine assessments, and support person-centered plans in residential settings.

Qualifications include RN licensure in the state, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), and the ability to meet background checks and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid state RN certification.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and provide CPR after certification.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide health-related training to staff and people supported.
• Perform routine nursing assessments and monitor health.
• Ensure preventative medical appointments are scheduled and recorded.
• Contribute to individual’s person-centered plan to maximize potential.
• Interact with staff in office and in residential homes.
• Observe and assess health needs of people we serve.
• Provide enhanced nursing services as needed.
• Educate direct support staff on health-related topics.
