Job summary

Starlight Behavioral Health in West Virginia is seeking a compassionate Residential Supervisor to oversee multiple group homes, supervise DSP staff, and ensure safe, compliant care for individuals with IDD. This full-time leadership role emphasizes hands-on oversight, staff coaching, and adherence to agency standards.

You will conduct weekly inspections, travel between locations, manage on-call responses, and document meetings while promoting person-centered care and a culture of accountability

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of direct supervisory experience in a related residential setting OR 4+ years DSP with IDD.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends and on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of assigned residential homes to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct weekly inspections and submit logs to the Residential Director each Friday.
• Travel regularly between residential locations for routine visits and emergencies.
• Supervise DSPs and residential staff, providing coaching and ongoing support.
• Document monthly staff meetings and participate in on-call responsibilities.
