Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Supervisor for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department. This role plays a key leadership part in supporting staff and ensuring high-quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The Supervisor will oversee daily operations, provide training, and foster a collaborative environment. Candidates should have a Master’s degree and relevant experience, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least 1 year of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to direct care staff.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for staff.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the program.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and families.
• Address concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
