Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services or related field, 3–5 years of leadership in HCBS settings, strong knowledge of HCBS, Medicaid, and MCO standards, plus excellent organization and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or similar) is required.
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in community-based services.
• Strong knowledge of HCBS, Medicaid regulations, NCDHHS requirements, and MCO standards.
• Demonstrated experience in program management, staff supervision, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems, reporting, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversight of assigned community-based programs.
• Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate Qualified Professionals (QPs).
• Ensure compliance with NCDHHS, Medicaid, MCOs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee ISPs, PCPs, service documentation, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct routine program audits, field visits, and service quality assessments.
• Monitor program performance, caseload management, service utilization, and operational productivity.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans, performance improvements, and SOPs.
• Support staff development through coaching, training, and leadership development.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, care coordinators, and community stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.
• Support organizational growth, program development, and continuous quality improvement.
