  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in community-based services.
  • Knowledge of HCBS, Medicaid regulations, NCDHHS requirements, and MCO standards.
  • Experience in program management, staff supervision, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership and oversight of assigned community-based programs.
  • Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate Qualified Professionals (QPs).
  • Ensure compliance with HCBS, Medicaid, MCO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee ISPs/PCPs, service documentation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct routine program audits, field visits, and service quality assessments.
  • Monitor program performance, caseload, and operational productivity.
  • Develop corrective action plans and standard operating procedures.
  • Support staff development through coaching, training, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with families, guardians, care coordinators, and community stakeholders.
  • Support organizational growth, program development, and continuous quality improvement.

3M’s Services LLC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our community-based services supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).

The Program Director is a senior leadership position responsible for program operations, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, staff supervision, and organizational performance. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound decision making, and the ability to manage multiple programs while promoting person centered care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and oversight of assigned community-based programs.
  • Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate Qualified Professionals (QPs).
  • Ensure compliance with NCDHHS, Medicaid, Managed Care Organization (MCO), and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Person Centered Plans (PCPs), service documentation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct routine program audits, field visits, and service quality assessments.
  • Monitor program performance, caseload management, service utilization, and operational productivity.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans, performance improvement initiatives, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Support staff development through coaching, training, performance evaluations, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with families, guardians, care coordinators, and community stakeholders to promote positive service outcomes.
  • Support organizational growth, program development, and continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in community based services.
  • Strong knowledge of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), Medicaid regulations, NCDHHS requirements, and MCO standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, staff supervision, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems, reporting, and data management.
